This Python package is a high-level wrapper for Kerberos (GSSAPI) operations. The goal is to avoid having to build a module that wraps the entire Kerberos.framework, and instead offer a limited set of functions that do what is needed for client/serverKerberos authentication based on <http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4559.txt>. Much of the C-code here is adapted from Apache's mod_auth_kerb-5.0rc7.

Control the python-kerberos package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install python-kerberos
This command will install python-kerberos on the server.
yum remove python-kerberos
This command will un-install python-kerberos on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-kerberos, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove python-kerberos
This command will un-install python-kerberos on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove python-kerberos when using the -y flag.
yum update python-kerberos
This command will update python-kerberos to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-kerberos, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
