The `recode' library converts files between character sets and usages. The library recognises or produces nearly 150 different character sets and is able to transliterate files between almost any pair. Control the recode-devel package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install recode-devel
This command will install recode-devel on the server.

This command will un-install recode-devel on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove recode-devel, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
