Description:
WordNet is a large lexical database of English, developed under the direction of George A. Miller. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets), each expressing a distinct concept. Synsets are interlinked by means of conceptual-semantic and lexical relations. The resulting network of meaningfully related words and concepts can be navigated with the browser. WordNet is also freely and publicly available for download. WordNet's structure makes it a useful tool for computational linguistics and natural language processing.

Control the wordnet package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install wordnet
This command will install wordnet on the server.
yum remove wordnet
This command will un-install wordnet on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove wordnet, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove wordnet
This command will un-install wordnet on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove wordnet when using the -y flag.
yum update wordnet
This command will update wordnet to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove wordnet, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y update wordnet

This command will check if there is an update waiting on wordnet. When you run this command this will return nothing if there is nothing to update, or, will return the package name if the package is due to be updated.
