This package contains documentation for the CLIPS library as well as numerous examples. CLIPS (C Language Integrated Production System) is an expert system development tool which provides a complete environment for the construction of rule and/or object based expert systems. Created in 1985 by NASA at the Johnson Space Center, CLIPS is now widely used throughout the government, industry, and academia. Handy Yum Commands for clips-doc


Control the clips-doc package with the following handy commands outlined below.


Command

Description of Command

yum install clips-doc

This command will install clips-doc on the server.

yum remove clips-doc

This command will un-install clips-doc on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove clips-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove clips-doc

This command will un-install clips-doc on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove clips-doc when using the -y flag.

yum update clips-doc

This command will update clips-doc to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove clips-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update clips-doc

This command will update clips-doc to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove clips-doc when using the -y flag.

This command will show you core information about the clips-doc package.

yum deplist clips-doc
