This package contains developer's documentation for the clipsmm library. clipsmm provides C++ based bindings for the C based CLIPS library. The documentation can be viewed either through the devhelp documentation browser or through a web browser. If using a web browser the documentation is installed in the gtk-doc hierarchy and can be found at /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/clipsmm-0.3 CLIPS (C Language Integrated Production System) is an expert system development tool which provides a complete environment for the construction of rule and/or object based expert systems. Created in 1985 by NASA at the Johnson Space Center, CLIPS is now widely used throughout the government, industry, and academia.

Handy Yum Commands for clipsmm-doc


Control the clipsmm-doc package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install clipsmm-doc

This command will install clipsmm-doc on the server.

yum remove clipsmm-doc

This command will un-install clipsmm-doc on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove clipsmm-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove clipsmm-doc

This command will un-install clipsmm-doc on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove clipsmm-doc when using the -y flag.

yum update clipsmm-doc

This command will update clipsmm-doc to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove clipsmm-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update clipsmm-doc

This command will update clipsmm-doc to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove clipsmm-doc when using the -y flag.
