CUBE (CUBE Uniform Behavioral Encoding) is a generic presentation component suitable for displaying a wide variety of performance metrics for parallel programs including MPI and OpenMP applications. CUBE allows interactive exploration of a multidimensional performance space in a scalable fashion. Scalability is achieved in two ways: hierarchical decomposition of individual dimensions and aggregation across different dimensions. All performance metrics are uniformly accommodated in the same display and thus provide the ability to easily compare the effects of different kinds of performance behavior.

Control the cube package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install cube
This command will install cube on the server.
yum remove cube
This command will un-install cube on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove cube, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove cube
This command will un-install cube on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove cube when using the -y flag.
yum update cube
This command will update cube to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove cube, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
