Description:

Gambit-C includes a Scheme interpreter and a Scheme compiler which can be used to build standalone executables. Because the compiler generates portable C code it is fairly easy to port to any platform with a decent C compiler. This package contains the Gambit-C user manual in HTML and PDF formats.

Description of Command

yum install gambit-c-doc

This command will install gambit-c-doc on the server.

yum remove gambit-c-doc

This command will un-install gambit-c-doc on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove gambit-c-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove gambit-c-doc

This command will un-install gambit-c-doc on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove gambit-c-doc when using the -y flag.

yum update gambit-c-doc

This command will update gambit-c-doc to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove gambit-c-doc, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update gambit-c-doc
