Description:
This library implements the SHA suite of message digest functions, according to NIST FIPS 180-2 (with the SHA-224 addendum), as well as the SHA-based HMAC routines. The functions have been tested against most of the NIST and RFC test vectors for the various functions. While some attention has been paid to performance, these do not presently reach the speed of well-tuned libraries, like OpenSSL.

Control the ghc-SHA package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install ghc-SHA
This command will install ghc-SHA on the server.
yum remove ghc-SHA
This command will un-install ghc-SHA on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove ghc-SHA, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove ghc-SHA
This command will un-install ghc-SHA on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove ghc-SHA when using the -y flag.
yum update ghc-SHA
This command will update ghc-SHA to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove ghc-SHA, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y update ghc-SHA
