Description:
This package is constructed on top of the MPI-1/MPI-2 specification and provides an object oriented interface which closely follows MPI-2 C++ bindings. Control the mpi4py-mpich package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install mpi4py-mpich
This command will install mpi4py-mpich on the server.
yum remove mpi4py-mpich
This command will un-install mpi4py-mpich on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove mpi4py-mpich, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove mpi4py-mpich
This command will un-install mpi4py-mpich on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove mpi4py-mpich when using the -y flag.
yum update mpi4py-mpich
This command will update mpi4py-mpich to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove mpi4py-mpich, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y update mpi4py-mpich
