remoteobjects are real subclassable Python objects on which you can build a rich API library. remoteobjects provides easy coding and transfer between Python objects and a JSON REST API. You can define the resources in a RESTful API as RemoteObject classes and their properties. These objects then support using the basic HTTP verbs to request and submit data to the API.

Handy Yum Commands for python-remoteobjects


Control the python-remoteobjects package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install python-remoteobjects

This command will install python-remoteobjects on the server.

yum remove python-remoteobjects

This command will un-install python-remoteobjects on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-remoteobjects, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove python-remoteobjects

This command will un-install python-remoteobjects on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove python-remoteobjects when using the -y flag.

yum update python-remoteobjects

This command will update python-remoteobjects to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-remoteobjects, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update python-remoteobjects
