The Python keyring lib provides a easy way to access the system keyring service from python. It can be used in any application that needs safe password storage. The keyring services supported by the Python keyring lib: * **OSXKeychain**: supports the Keychain service in Mac OS X. * **KDEKWallet**: supports the KDE's Kwallet service. * **GnomeKeyring**: for GNOME environment. * **SecretServiceKeyring**: for newer GNOME and KDE environments. * **WinVaultKeyring**: supports the Windows Credential Vault Besides these native password storing services provided by operating systems. Handy Yum Commands for python2-keyring


Control the python2-keyring package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install python2-keyring

This command will install python2-keyring on the server.

yum remove python2-keyring

This command will un-install python2-keyring on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python2-keyring, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove python2-keyring

This command will un-install python2-keyring on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove python2-keyring when using the -y flag.

yum update python2-keyring

This command will update python2-keyring to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python2-keyring, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update python2-keyring
