Description:

Raindrops is a real-time stats toolkit to show statistics for Rack HTTP servers. It is designed for preforking servers such as Rainbows! and Unicorn, but should support any Rack HTTP server under Ruby 1.9, 1.8 and Rubinius on platforms supporting POSIX shared memory. It may also be used as a generic scoreboard for sharing atomic counters across multiple processes.

Handy Yum Commands for rubygem-raindrops


Control the rubygem-raindrops package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install rubygem-raindrops

This command will install rubygem-raindrops on the server.

yum remove rubygem-raindrops

This command will un-install rubygem-raindrops on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove rubygem-raindrops, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove rubygem-raindrops

This command will un-install rubygem-raindrops on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove rubygem-raindrops when using the -y flag.

yum update rubygem-raindrops

This command will update rubygem-raindrops to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove rubygem-raindrops, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update rubygem-raindrops

This command will update rubygem-raindrops to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove rubygem-raindrops when using the -y flag.
