Description:
TORQUE (Tera-scale Open-source Resource and QUEue manager) is a resource manager providing control over batch jobs and distributed compute nodes. TORQUE is based on OpenPBS version 2.3.12 and incorporates scalability, fault tolerance, and feature extension patches provided by USC, NCSA, OSC, the U.S. Dept of Energy, Sandia, PNNL, U of Buffalo, TeraGrid, and many other leading edge HPC organizations. Control the torque-gui package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install torque-gui
This command will install torque-gui on the server.
yum remove torque-gui
This command will un-install torque-gui on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove torque-gui, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove torque-gui
This command will un-install torque-gui on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove torque-gui when using the -y flag.
yum update torque-gui
This command will update torque-gui to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove torque-gui, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y update torque-gui
This command will update torque-gui to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove torque-gui when using the -y flag.

This command will show you core information about the torque-gui package.
