Description:
This C library libdiscid creates MusicBrainz DiscIDs from audio CDs. It reads the table of contents (TOC) of a CD and generates an identifier which can be used to lookup the CD at MusicBrainz. Additionally, it provides a submission URL for adding the DiscID to the database.

Control the libdiscid package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install libdiscid
This command will install libdiscid on the server.
yum remove libdiscid
This command will un-install libdiscid on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove libdiscid, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove libdiscid
This command will un-install libdiscid on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove libdiscid when using the -y flag.
yum update libdiscid
This command will update libdiscid to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove libdiscid, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
