Description:

The PCP::LogSummary module provides a Perl module for using the statistical summary data produced by the Performance Co-Pilot pmlogsummary utility. This utility produces various averages, minima, maxima, and other calculations based on the performance data stored in a PCP archive. The Perl interface is ideal for exporting this data into third-party tools (e.g. spreadsheets).

Description of Command

yum install perl-PCP-LogSummary

This command will install perl-PCP-LogSummary on the server.

yum remove perl-PCP-LogSummary

This command will un-install perl-PCP-LogSummary on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-PCP-LogSummary, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove perl-PCP-LogSummary

This command will un-install perl-PCP-LogSummary on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-PCP-LogSummary when using the -y flag.

yum update perl-PCP-LogSummary

This command will update perl-PCP-LogSummary to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-PCP-LogSummary, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update perl-PCP-LogSummary
