Pod::Spell is a Pod formatter whose output is good for spellchecking. Pod::Spell rather like Pod::Text, except that it doesn't put much effort into actual formatting, and it suppresses things that look like Perl symbols or Perl jargon (so that your spellchecking program won't complain about mystery words like "$thing" or "Foo::Bar" or "hashref").

Handy Yum Commands for perl-Pod-Spell


Control the perl-Pod-Spell package with the following handy commands outlined below.

This command will install perl-Pod-Spell on the server.

yum remove perl-Pod-Spell

This command will un-install perl-Pod-Spell on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-Pod-Spell, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove perl-Pod-Spell

This command will un-install perl-Pod-Spell on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-Pod-Spell when using the -y flag.

yum update perl-Pod-Spell

This command will update perl-Pod-Spell to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-Pod-Spell, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
