Description:

This module provides a way to process XML documents. It is build on top of XML::Parser. XML::Twig offers a tree interface to the document, while allowing you to output the parts of it that have been completely processed. It allows minimal resource (CPU and memory) usage by building the tree only for the parts of the documents that need actual processing, through the use of the twig_roots and twig_print_outside_roots options.

Handy Yum Commands for perl-XML-Twig


Control the perl-XML-Twig package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install perl-XML-Twig

This command will install perl-XML-Twig on the server.

yum remove perl-XML-Twig

This command will un-install perl-XML-Twig on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-XML-Twig, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove perl-XML-Twig

This command will un-install perl-XML-Twig on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-XML-Twig when using the -y flag.

yum update perl-XML-Twig

This command will update perl-XML-Twig to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-XML-Twig, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update perl-XML-Twig
