Description:
Bio (blocked i/o) 2 jack is a library for enabling easy porting of blocked io(OSS/ALSA) applications to the jack sound server. This library allows the person porting the code to simply replace the calls into OSS/ALSA with calls into interface functions of this library. The library buffers a small amount of audio data and takes care of the rest of the jack implementation including the linked list of audio data buffers and the jack callback.

Control the bio2jack package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install bio2jack
This command will install bio2jack on the server.
yum remove bio2jack
This command will un-install bio2jack on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove bio2jack, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove bio2jack
This command will un-install bio2jack on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove bio2jack when using the -y flag.
yum update bio2jack
This command will update bio2jack to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove bio2jack, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y update bio2jack
