Description:

Display Suite allows you to take full control over how your content is displayed using a drag and drop interface. Arrange your nodes, views, comments, user data etc. the way you want without having to work your way through dozens of template files. A predefined list of layouts (D7 only) is available for even more drag and drop fun! Handy Yum Commands for drupal7-ds


Control the drupal7-ds package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install drupal7-ds

This command will install drupal7-ds on the server.

yum remove drupal7-ds

This command will un-install drupal7-ds on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove drupal7-ds, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove drupal7-ds

This command will un-install drupal7-ds on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove drupal7-ds when using the -y flag.

yum update drupal7-ds

This command will update drupal7-ds to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove drupal7-ds, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update drupal7-ds

This command will update drupal7-ds to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove drupal7-ds when using the -y flag.

yum info drupal7-ds

This command will show you core information about the drupal7-ds package.

yum deplist drupal7-ds

This command will show you the dependencies for drupal7-ds. Thankfully, when using Yum, if dependencies are required, these are also installed at the same time so you don't have to worry too much about that.

yum check-update drupal7-ds

This command will check if there is an update waiting on drupal7-ds. When you run this command this will return nothing if there is nothing to update, or, will return the package name if the package is due to be updated.
