Jam recursively builds target files from source files, using dependency information and updating actions expressed in the Jambase file, which is written in jam's own interpreted language. yum install jam
This command will install jam on the server.
yum remove jam
This command will un-install jam on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove jam, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove jam
This command will un-install jam on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove jam when using the -y flag.
yum update jam
This command will update jam to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove jam, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
