Description:

The goal of this library is to offer a "simple" queue system using the underlying filesystem for storage, security and to prevent race conditions via atomic operations. It focuses on simplicity, robustness and scalability. Multiple concurrent readers and writers can interact with the same queue. Other implementations of the same algorithm exist so readers and writers can be written in different programming languages.

Handy Yum Commands for libdirq


Control the libdirq package with the following handy commands outlined below.


Command

Description of Command

yum install libdirq

This command will install libdirq on the server.

yum remove libdirq

This command will un-install libdirq on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove libdirq, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove libdirq

This command will un-install libdirq on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove libdirq when using the -y flag.

yum update libdirq

This command will update libdirq to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove libdirq, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update libdirq

This command will update libdirq to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove libdirq when using the -y flag.

yum info libdirq

This command will show you core information about the libdirq package.
