Description:
Meld is a GNOME 2 visual diff and merge tool. It integrates especially well with CVS. The diff viewer lets you edit files in place (diffs update dynamically), and a middle column shows detailed changes and allows merges. The margins show location of changes for easy navigation, and it also features a tabbed interface that allows you to open many diffs at once.

Control the meld package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install meld
This command will install meld on the server.
yum remove meld
This command will un-install meld on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove meld, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove meld
This command will un-install meld on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove meld when using the -y flag.
yum update meld
This command will update meld to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove meld, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
