File::Comments guesses the type of a given file, determines the format used for comments, extracts all comments, and returns them as a reference to an array of chunks. Alternatively, it strips all comments from a file. Currently supported are Perl scripts, C/C++ programs, Java, makefiles, JavaScript, Python and PHP.

Handy Yum Commands for perl-File-Comments

This command will install perl-File-Comments on the server.

yum remove perl-File-Comments

This command will un-install perl-File-Comments on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-File-Comments, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

This command will un-install perl-File-Comments on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-File-Comments when using the -y flag.

This command will update perl-File-Comments to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-File-Comments, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
