Description:

POE::Component::IRC is a POE component (who'd have guessed?) which acts as an easily controllable IRC client for your other POE components and sessions. You create an IRC component and tell it what events your session cares about and where to connect to, and it sends back interesting IRC events when they happen. You make the client do things by sending it events. That's all there is to it. Cool, no?

Description of Command

yum install perl-POE-Component-IRC

This command will install perl-POE-Component-IRC on the server.

yum remove perl-POE-Component-IRC

This command will un-install perl-POE-Component-IRC on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-POE-Component-IRC, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove perl-POE-Component-IRC

This command will un-install perl-POE-Component-IRC on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-POE-Component-IRC when using the -y flag.

yum update perl-POE-Component-IRC
