Description:

*Term::Size* is a Perl module which provides a straightforward way to retrieve the terminal size. Both functions take an optional filehandle argument, which defaults to '*STDIN{IO}'. They both return a list of two values, which are the current width and height, respectively, of the terminal associated with the specified filehandle. 'Term::Size::chars' returns the size in units of characters, whereas 'Term::Size::pixels' uses units of pixels.

Handy Yum Commands for perl-Term-Size


Control the perl-Term-Size package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install perl-Term-Size

This command will install perl-Term-Size on the server.

yum remove perl-Term-Size

This command will un-install perl-Term-Size on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-Term-Size, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove perl-Term-Size

This command will un-install perl-Term-Size on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-Term-Size when using the -y flag.

yum update perl-Term-Size

This command will update perl-Term-Size to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove perl-Term-Size, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update perl-Term-Size

This command will update perl-Term-Size to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove perl-Term-Size when using the -y flag.
