Description:

A simple Django extension that provides support for Rails-like flash messages. The flash is a temporary storage mechanism that looks like a Python dictionary, so you can store values associated with keys and later retrieve them. It has one special property: by default, values stored into the flash during the processing of a request will be available during the processing of the immediately following request. Once that second request has been processed, those values are removed automatically from the storage.

Description of Command

yum install python-django-flash

This command will install python-django-flash on the server.

yum remove python-django-flash

This command will un-install python-django-flash on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-django-flash, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove python-django-flash

This command will un-install python-django-flash on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove python-django-flash when using the -y flag.

yum update python-django-flash

This command will update python-django-flash to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove python-django-flash, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update python-django-flash
