sevmgr is a C++ library of discrete event queue management classes and functions, exclusively targeting simulation purposes. sevmgr makes an extensive use of existing open-source libraries for increased functionality, speed and accuracy. In particular the Boost (C++ Standard Extensions: http://www.boost.org) library is used. Install the sevmgr package if you need a library of basic C++ objects for the discrete event queue management of your simulation project.

Handy Yum Commands for sevmgr


Control the sevmgr package with the following handy commands outlined below.

yum install sevmgr

This command will install sevmgr on the server.

yum remove sevmgr

This command will un-install sevmgr on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove sevmgr, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y remove sevmgr

This command will un-install sevmgr on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove sevmgr when using the -y flag.

yum update sevmgr

This command will update sevmgr to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove sevmgr, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.

yum -y update sevmgr

This command will update sevmgr to the latest version. When you run this command with the -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove sevmgr when using the -y flag.

This command will show you core information about the sevmgr package.
