Description:
SpanDSP is a library of DSP functions for telephony, in the 8000 sample per second world of E1s, T1s, and higher order PCM channels. It contains low level functions, such as basic filters. It also contains higher level functions, such as cadenced supervisory tone detection, and a complete software FAX machine. The software has been designed to avoid intellectual property issues, using mature techniques where all relevant patents have expired. Control the spandsp package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install spandsp
This command will install spandsp on the server.
yum remove spandsp
This command will un-install spandsp on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove spandsp, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove spandsp
This command will un-install spandsp on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove spandsp when using the -y flag.
yum update spandsp
This command will update spandsp to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove spandsp, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
