Description:
tsung is a distributed load testing tool. It is protocol-independent and can currently be used to stress and benchmark HTTP, Jabber/XMPP, PostgreSQL, MySQL and LDAP servers. It simulates user behaviour using an XML description file, reports many measurements in real time (statistics can be customized with transactions, and graphics generated using gnuplot). For HTTP, it supports 1.0 and 1.1, has a proxy mode to record sessions, supports GET and POST methods, Cookies, and Basic WWW-authentication. It also has support for SSL.

Control the tsung package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install tsung
This command will install tsung on the server.
yum remove tsung
This command will un-install tsung on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove tsung, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove tsung
This command will un-install tsung on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove tsung when using the -y flag.
yum update tsung
This command will update tsung to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove tsung, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
