Description:
xclip is a command line utility that is designed to run on any system with an X11 implementation. It provides an interface to X selections ("the clipboard") from the command line. It can read data from standard in or a file and place it in an X selection for pasting into other X applications. xclip can also print an X selection to standard out, which can then be redirected to a file or another program.

Control the xclip package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install xclip
This command will install xclip on the server.
yum remove xclip
This command will un-install xclip on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove xclip, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove xclip
This command will un-install xclip on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove xclip when using the -y flag.
yum update xclip
This command will update xclip to the latest version. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove xclip, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
