The MPFR library is a C library for multiple-precision floating-point computations with "correct rounding". The MPFR is efficient and also has a well-defined semantics. It copies the good ideas from the ANSI/IEEE-754 standard for double-precision floating-point arithmetic (53-bit mantissa). MPFR is based on the GMP multiple-precision library.

Control the mpfr package with the following handy commands outlined below.
yum install mpfr
This command will install mpfr on the server.
yum remove mpfr
This command will un-install mpfr on the server. When you run this command, you will be asked if you are sure that you want to remove mpfr, so you have to manually confirm that you want to do this.
yum -y remove mpfr
This command will un-install mpfr on the server. When you run this command with th e -y flag, you will not be prompted to check that you are sure you want to remove the package - so be sure you absolutely want to remove mpfr when using the -y flag.
